Jeomap Framework components and modules primary goal is to allow fast and easy Joomla Google maps integration. The goal is to relieve webmasters who wish to implement geomapping features from the burden of having to learn and code Google maps API interfaces. The framework is intended to be a core component that presents a user friendly interface to webmasters and users. Its generic design must allow for almost any usage of geomapping by integrating standard Joomla content but also external data source such as other Joomla components. The base Open Jeomap will be extensible to a Pro version with more specific features such as Google Earth integration, asynchronous data feeding from remote Joomla sites, and other to be defined.
