Description:: This Joomla Phpbb2 integration is probably the best modification of popular forum phpbb2 (from this site http://www.przemo.org/ ). This modification is based on phpBB 2.0.X script, it contains about 300 add-ons, with ability to switch off any of them in admin's panel.
Present features of integration: - all users aspects are integrated: registration, login, adding new users, deleting users, editing users - there is no option to run forum in component mode, only stand alone.
Required settings Same database Joomla prefix – jos_ Forum prefix – phpbb_ Forum dir – forum In final version of integration those parameters will be changeable.
This integration requires patching of some files, both joomla and forum. It is all done thru component configuration panel.
Instructions for installation are in install package which also contains comment addon and new forum posts module.
Of course component is now available in english.
