BlastChat Client is an AJAX-based Joomla chat component (Joomla! 1.0.x, Joomla! 1.5 legacy). BlastChat is a hosted chat solution, meaning the the BlastChat server will perform the resource intensive work (freeing your bandwidth server resources) to allow a responsive chatting experience.

BlastChat basic chat hosting service includes a maximum of 5 concurrent chatters inside all your rooms combined for free (seamless integration with your database usernames included. You can assign SuperAdmin and Admins with kick/ban ability). Higher chatter limit plans are available for a fee.

Your visitors only need to have basic Internet access (if behind firewalls or proxies they do not need special ports open) and any vitually any Internet browser. Tested using FireFox 3.x, 2.x, 1.x, IE 8.x beta, 7.x, 6.x, Opera 9.x, 8.x, Mozilla 1.7.12, Netscape 8.1, Konqueror.
